I am selling a very solid 1955 Ford F100 half ton pickup truck. This truck does not run at this time, and the brakes are soft. The winning bidder will have to arrange a trailer or service to transport this truck to them. The truck is complete, and 95% original minus the 3 gauges in the dash, and the 302 motor. The motor does turn over, but the truck has not been started in years. The frame has not been cut, nor does it show any signs of rust. The factory original tranny is a 3 on the tree manual shift. The rearend is also an original FOMOCO dana. The truck does rolls fine, and steers well. The interior of the truck very good. Not perfect. The seat has been recovered in black vinyl, and the original floor mat is still in place. The original radio is in the dash, and the speaker and grille is in the roof. The factory steering column and heater are in place as well. The floor of the cab is good. There is some soft areas near the front cab corners, and there is a piece of sheet metal patched in the driver side rocker panel. This work was nicely done. The exterior of the truck is solid. The hood, grille, front fenders, doors, running boards, rear fenders, bed sides and tail gate are in nice shape. In my opinion, non of these parts need work. The rear cab corners are starting to buble, but nothing serious. The front driver side cab corner is good, but the passender side front corner needs to be patched. All of the glass is in good shape. The wood in the box is nice, but a couple of the boards need to be replaced. This is a nice truck, that is being sold in "As Is" condition, and in need of restoration. Buyer is responsible for vehicle transport or pickup. I will be more than happy to help load. I am including a nice factory original headliner with the sale of this truck.
