Vehicle Detail
Hello you are bidding on a 1973 Porsche 914. It has fiberglass GT flares. I picked it up a while back with plans of it being a dedicated autoX car. Basic suspension is all there & the car rolls as is. The interior is stripped with the exception of seats (which aren't in good shape) & the backpad. No windows in the car. It is just your basic rolling shell. Car is solid with some minor rust. There is no battery tray & there was some rust on the wall but that has been patched & welded. Although you can see where they patched it. They did a pretty good job. Concours it isn't but solid for a daily driver or track car. The color is rare L30C paint code. It is a custom order paint & is called Aubergine (a shade of purple). Also known as Eggplant on Porsche 911's. Main wiring is all still there excluding motor wiring for FI & misc. I will include a 916 front bumper with it. The front hood is in good shape. The rear hood has alot of surface rust but just need sanded again. Guy sanded it down to paint & didn't put a primer coat on it & left it out. I will assist with shipping but at your expense. I might even consider delivery for a fee if you are close enough. I flat towed it home 350 miles with NO problems. There is no motor or transmission. Car come as seen in the pictures with the exception of the wheels in the first picture. The wheels currently on it are just a set of Riviera's & are what will come with the car. The front trunk had a replacement piece of sheet metal welded in. I am assuming to replace an air conditioning cutout. Also the front & reat trunk were coated with what looks like bedliner. Clear Washington title I am happy to take more pictures for you. Just realize this is a NO RESERVE auction. Do not bid unless you plan to buy it period. Also I am not going to go down & take a ton of pictures for you. I'm happy to send copies of all the pics I have taken to you via email. Nonrefundable deposit of $250 due within 24hours of auction end. Full payment due within 5 days. Car must be gone within a week unless other arrangments have been made. Happy to help in any way I can. I love 914's but have taken on a few to many projects of late. Car is sold as is where is! Thanks for looking
