FEATURES : 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine(averages 23 mpg) ,Cold A.C., Rear ABS, Pioneer 35 watt x 4 AM/FM Stereo/CD with 4 speakers, Auxiliary Pwr Outlet, Driver Air Bag, Front Reading Lamps, Full Size Spare Tire, Intermittent Wipers, Power Steering, Rear Wheel Drive, Split Reclining Cloth Bucket Seats, Rear Jump Seats, Alloy Wheels, 4 Good All-Season Tires, Bed Liner, Trailer Hitch, Tinted Windows, Sliding Rear Window, CONDITION : I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER, BOUGHT NEW IN 1996 AT AL PACKER FORD IN WEST PALM BEACH FLORIDA. Paint looks good considering that this truck is 15 years old, faded but would probably respond well to professional buffing and wax. A few very minor rust spots with no rust through anywhere. All paint is original except for driver side front fender that was replaced and painted after minor fender bender many years ago. The clearcoat on this fender is peeling. Interior is in exceptionally good original condition. Carpets and seats are in nearly new original condition and would likely shampoo to even better condition. Dash is slightly faded near windshield but there are no cracks. Headliner is in nearly new condition. Truck has NEVER BEEN SMOKED IN. The oil and filter have been religiously changed every 3 - 4000 miles since new. Engine runs and idles like new. There is no detectable oil burning or oil consumption between oil changes. Mechanicaly the truck runs and drives excellent with the following exceptions : THE ODOMETER STOPPED WORKING SEVERAL YEARS AGO SO THE MILEAGE IS BASED ON MY ESTIMATE. THE ODOMETER READS 93,000 MILES. I AVERAGE VERY CLOSE TO 12,000 MILES PER YEAR SO THE TRUCK WOULD HAVE CLOSE TO 180,000 MILES OF MOSTLY HIGHWAY MILES. The speedometer works fine, just the odometer and trip meter do not work. IT IS MY OPINION THAT THE CLUTCH AND CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED SOON. ALTHOUGH THE TRUCK DRIVES FINE AND THE TRANSMISSION BEHAVES AS NEW, THE CLUTCH OCCASIONALLY GETS STUCK AND THE PEDAL WILL NOT DEPRESS TO DISENGAGE THE CLUTCH UNLESS MORE THAN USUAL FORCE IS APPLIED TO CLUTCH PEDAL. THIS ONLY HAPPENS AFTER SOME IN TOWN STOP AND GO DRIVING WHERE THERE IS A LOT OF CLUTCH USE. THE CLUTCH DOES NOT CHATTER OR SLIP AT ALL. THE CLUTCH AND RELATED COMPONENTS ARE ALL ORIGINAL. If it weren't for the clutch issue I would not even consider selling this truck. It has been completely reliable since new.
