For sale is one 1965 Ford F-100, it has been in my family over 20 years. My father owned the truck until he passed in 1995, my brother drove the truck for a period, had it painted and switched it from a three speed to an automatic. He lost interest and sold the truck to another sibling who wound up returning ownership to my mother. After 2001, mother was tired of paying taxes on the vehicle, and had it listed as 'junked' and it sat in her yard until December 2009. I asked for the truck and mother handed it over to me. Oct. 2010, we go to the DMV to swap names and file for a lost title and hit a road block; because it had been junked by mother, it has to be road worthy before inspectors will allow it to be removed from 'junked' status. Now, looking at the pics one might assume, truck looks great, and it does, but obvious (or not so obvious) details need to be addressed. Brakes, cracked windshield, lights, etc. The motor, 351 2bbl, will turn-over, but won't start. I removed the gas tank, fuel pump and carb back in the spring, but I do not have the time to repair. I have the grille and bezels, new hinges for the hood and the gas tank. I know I will regret parting with the truck someday, but I think it will be better off in the hands of someone who has time to repair. From the photos you can note that rust has prevailed in the usual places, though not bad for a '65, it will need attention. I do not have the chrome that trims the hood, doors or bed and the tailgate is missing the handle. Also missing are the window handles and head-liner, I do have the inner door pnls. that are missing in the photos.
