Vehicle Detail

*NO RESERVE* TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER GOES THIS EXCEPTIONALLY NICE EXAMPLE OF THE 1967 BUICK SKYLARK “A” BODY CONVERTIBLE. THIS AMERICAN CLASSIC IS IN VERY NICE ORIGINAL CONDITION. THIS CLASSIC IS READY TO DRIVE ANYWHERE AND CAN BE DISPLAYED PROUDLY AS IS AT ANY LOCAL CAR SHOW. THIS IS A “SURVIVOR” AND IT IS ALL THERE. This beautiful classic starts runs and drives like a dream. It has no leaks, doesn’t smoke or make any funny noises. It runs straight down the road with a very smooth and solid feel, and stops effortlessly. This is a 43 year old car and is not a trailer queen. It has its minor flaws and imperfections, but gets plenty of attention wherever it goes. It is very roadworthy and can be driven anywhere with no worries. · Engine is the 300-2 V8 · Carburetor is the original Rochester (with tag still attached) and functions perfectly · Transmission has been professionally upgraded to a recently rebuilt GM Turbo 350 (3 speed) automatic that shifts strong, smooth and quiet · Brakes are front discs, rear drum with a new power booster · Power steering · Factory Rally wheels · Tires show very little wear · New voltage regulator · New electronic ignition · New alternator · Cooling system very clean, never runs hot · Original radio still in dash · Factory A/C · Dual exhaust with deep throaty sound · All glass is near perfect · Stainless trim is in excellent condition with no dents · Chrome is very nice with a deep shine (small crack in front bumper at top center below the grille-hard to see) · Grille is very nice (missing tri-shield emblem) · Convertible top is free of rips or tears, rear window is clear (power pump works slow with no leaks) · New trunk lid rubber seal · New correct trunk mat · New hood pad kit · New rear dome light lens (2) The overall condition of the exterior is excellent. The sides are free of door dings, smooth and straight with body lines correct. The paint has a great shine but is showing some age. There is no evidence of any rust or bondo. The door handles look new and pulls and cranks look very nice. The undercarriage is solid and damage free. The interior is all there and looks to be all original. The door panels, carpet and seats are showing some age. There are no rips or tears in the carpet and a small tear on the rear arm rest area near the dome light. All in all, the interior is extremely presentable. The trunk has had some rust damage on the left (drivers’ side) pan but has been repaired with fiberglass. The repair is weather proof and strong. The trunk pan replacement panels can be ordered in sections if you think it needs it, and can be easily replaced for approximately $160.00 USD. There is a dent above the passenger side headlight and one the size of a quarter on the top of the drivers’ side rear quarter panel. There are a few cracks on the original steering wheel, and just above the glove box on the dash pad, but they too can be repaired. Again, not a trailer queen but a very nice solid car that is looking for a new owner to take it to the next level.
