This beautiful 1978 Ford F-150 is in excellent condition. It has never been wrecked or off roaded. It has always been garaged kept. Exterior was repainted in 2007. No repair panels were added or bondo'd up. All sheet metal is Ford factory steel and no aftermarket body panels were used. It was painted original red with a clear coat. It has a flawless finish with perfect body lines. The inside of the bed is in great shape. The interior has new carpet and a recovered seat with new foam. All door panels, dash pad, headliner and sun visors are original and perfect. The original Ford radio is in place in the dash. A hidden radio system was installed behind the dash with a amp and speaker system, professionally installed behind the seat. It has a ten disc C.D. changer and a remote control. No holes were drilled to mount speaker board, it is free standing. Only small digital display under dash is visible to the naked eye. All door seals, window seals and glass runners were replaced. Original aluminum rear sliding window was rebuilt with new seals and tinted. All steering components were replaced as well as ball joints, all brakes and hardware, and control arm bushings. Items such as heater core, water pump, belts and hoses, plugs wires, cap and rotor are new. Complete dual exhaust with aluminum coated pipes. Both driveshafts were rebuilt and tubes replaced and painted grey. The rear main seal was replaced along with a high volume oil pressure pump. All bearings were inspected at this point and were in excellent shape. The starter and flywheel were replaced while disassembled. B.D.S. 4 inch lift was installed with matching B.D.S. shocks including dual front shocks and steering stabilizer. Both front coil and rear leaf springs were replaced with lift. This truck has 17 inch Mickey Thompson wheels with Dick Cepek tires. The 351m motor is solid and backed by a C6 automatic transmission.
