For sale is a 1962 Mercury Meteor V8 3 Speed for parts or ???????? This Meteor was bought then parked in 1985 and has not been driven since. It has the 260 V8 engine with 3 speed on the column. The body has rust in the rear fender wells and one hole the drivers side floor pan but the rest of the car looks good. (Look at pictures closely) The engine runs with no smoke and sounds very good. The dash and instruments are bright and compleat. This car will be good for a parts car or could be fixed up, your choice. I am selling this car for a friend who bought it for the engine, to go in his 64 1/2 Mustang witch has the 260 V8. He decided to rebuilt the Mustangs engine, so dose not need this car. This car is sold as is, and will need to be trailered to your home.(dose not drive at this time) I have a trailer and can deliver a reasonable distance for gas and a little for my time.
