This is a 1992 525i BMW. The car has been in the family since new and has many new parts. All the electronics work, power seats, A/C, stereo, 6 disc changer, power windows, power mirrors, power sunroof, etc. The car was a daily driver til it hit 175k, at 175k it had a major overhaul and received a new SACHS clutch, new O2 sensor, new battery, new fuel sensor, new brakes all the way around with cross-drilled rotors. From 175-245 the car was used to go back and forth to our hous in Lake Tahoe as our other vehicle does not have cruise control and the BMW does, So of the last 60k, 55k were all highway! If the final price reaches over 1500 I will include a brand new Sachs clutch (200.00 dollar value) and a new Bosch Oxygen Sensor(85 dollar value). The car doesn't need either of them at the moment. i just have extras! WHAT The Car needs : It needs a new Head Gasket, it leaks OIL big time! The head gasket itself isnt much 40-60 dollars max but the labor is, Ive been quoted 400-800! The car also has a leak in the muffler, and I havent had it checked out, so Icant tell you about that! It will also need new tires soon as it is currently running on the full size SPARE, the 4th original rim will be included. I have taken pictures of the major dings in the car, BUT know this car has never been in a major accident, it has never had any body work. Also the sunroof is rusted but I have new sunroof that Ill include with the sale (same color)!. Also the car has used MOBIL ONE synthetic since 100k, Interior the drivers seat is torn up but the seat is still straight both power seats still work! The door panels are delaminated which is a common problem for the E34 BMW's, The dash isnt cracked but some of the led/night time cabin lights arent working but all the controls do! The six disc changer works. FURTHER, you put oil in it and this BEAMER wont die, it would make it to Vegas and back if you put oil it, it does drive but since its leaking oil it doesnt have full power, lack of compression. If you have any questions feel free to ask, this is a NO RESERVE auction and the car will be sold to the highest bidder! Buyer must arrange for pickup, seller will sell this car as non operational as it will not pass smog in its current state in CA even though you could drive it home, we will not smog it or imply that it will pass smog! BODY is straight, with a lil work this would be a nice ride, the straight six BMW motors are bombproof
