1986 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series 420 SEL NO RESERVE FULLY DETAILED This 1986 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL W126 body style is truly a NICE CAR. This vehicle has been well maintained and restored by its previous owner over the past years. The original owner had great pride in his car and had the Benz professionally painted. The exterior paint job is good. I've used the car primarily to commute a few days of the month and had lots of compliments for its looks. I've owned this great car for the last few months. I used the car with my wife for a Sunday drive as well. The 420 SEL. The vehicle's paint is good, and the exterior chrome is in good shape. The nice exterior is well complemented by an exceptionally clean, nicely finished interior with a few fadings in the seat color (see picture) . The carpets are clean and stain free and shows no sign of fading. The sunvisors and headliner are in good condition, so is the sun roof that is fully functional. The vehicle is equipped with power windows. The rear passenger side window is not working. The odometer does not work but everything else in the instrument cluster functions properly. The dash is protected with a black cover. The car is also equipped with a built in phone system. The middle console controls between the front seats work fine but the console is movable. The car runs and drives very well and the AC blows strong cold air. Brakes work perfect and the transmission shifts smooth. I just had the car tuned up with a new fuel distributor installed. NO RESERVE The car has its original books. The chassis of the car is clean and solid and the exhaust is in good shape. Overall the car is well maintained and restored.
