Vehicle Detail

1971 Dodge Charger R/T Concourse One of a Kind This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. This 1971 440 Sixpack Charger R/T was bought and sold new in Southern California and has remained here it's entire life. The Original Owner still lives close by to me and he sold it in 1997 to Sage Stallone (Sly's son). It showed approximately 38,000 miles at the time and it remained in storage for several years until approximately 4 years ago. At that time Sage took the car to Mopar Guru Julius Steuer of Restorations by Julius www.rbyj.com. Despite coaching from Julius to just detail the car, tune it up and keep it a survivor, the decision was made to do a ground up restoration on the car. So the car underwent a costly ground up restoration with no expense spared. The car is all Original Sheet Metal with Numbers Matching Engine and Transmission. Once the car was restored, Sage didn't drive it. Do not know why, but was told he considered it a work of art and didn't want to use it. The car has less then 50 miles on it since restoration ( 46 of them driven by me). Guess I couldn't help myself and if it doesn't sell I can assure you it won't be 38,000 orginal miles for much longer. I met the Original owner a few months ago for Coffee and we talked about his old ride, turns out this car has always been right here in California and never left. The car has all it's original body panels and parts. Only change made was Sage didn't want 14" wheels so 15" ones were put on when it was restored and the 14" ones are long gone now. The car is loaded with paperwork, build sheet, punch card from assembly line, original down payment paperwork from original owner, paint inspection report, braking report and more. The car is Citron Yellow (Only Sixpack Charger in this color documentend so far) and it is equipped with Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Air Grabber Hood, Hideaway Headlights, Rallye Wheels, Rallye Gauges, Bucket Seats "rare cloth insert style", AM / Cassette With Dictaphone and center console with slapstick shifter. If you're looking for rare, looking for excellent documentaion, you want original metal, all numbers matching, low mileage and a very rare color on a MOPAR, it's sitting right here. At the markets Peak this was a $125K car, it's now below six figures, however rare and quality cars still demand top dollar and by no means is this a fire sale, just a chance to own one heck of a car for a very reasonable price. Once the market recovers a bit, either I or the new owner will have invested wisely. This is your chance to snag one of the best MOPARS on the market for a reasonable price or check back with me in 5-years, we'll have a new price at that time.
