Selling my little 2 seater car, I have had a fun driving it on the weekends, you don't see many of these anymore, it turns a lot of heads. I bought this 4 years ago from California and had it shipped here. The previous owner was adult that owned it from since it was new. It has never seen snow or rain since arriving in the far west suburbs of Chicago. The car still has the original pearl white paint that looks pretty good with the exception of some fading and stone chips mostly on the front bumper. The car is rustfree and dent free. There are just a couple of dings that you have to get down and look very closely down the side of the car to even find them. They are not visible by just standing and looking at the car. (I am a perfectionist so that is why I see everything, the average person would not notice something so tiny.) I have a new project now so this one must go, hopefully to another Z admirer Since I have owned the car I have: -Replaced the mirror portion on the one of the door mirrors -Found a fog light assembly on Ebay and replaced the broken one -Found an original 1989 300zx Service Shop Manual, it goes with the car. -Installed new hydraulic engine hood supports -Installed new front rotors and ceramic pads all around just a couple months ago. 1) The wiper fluid motor does not work, this could be easily replaced with an original unit or one of the many after market conversions 2) The Headliner fabric around the T-Tops has come loose and was roughly glued back in place by the previous owner, not a good job and would need to be replaced to look like it should good, however right now it stays in place, not flying in the breeze it just looks lumpy etc. 3) The interior door panels are in good condition with the exception of a couple tiny perforations that have been covered with a few very small pieces of tan duct tape so the perforations don't get bigger. 4) The drivers seat has some wear so seat covers have been installed. 5) The hatch area carpet has the California sun damage, needs replacment if you want it perfect. It never bothered me as this is a driver type car. The rest of the carpet is used 1989 condition. 6) The console has a little storage compartment and the lid that opens up has some of the brown finish worn off. This is very typical as your right arm usually rests here and over time takes some of the finish off. 7) The muffler is solid, however when you hit it with your fist you can hear a rattle inside, probably a baffle. The rattle can heard when you rev the engine as well, this has never been a problem. 8) The emissions light just came on, it runs fine I thought I would mention it.
