On the road it has good manners, lots of power, the steering soft and light and a good ride. It starts easily at all times, the engine is very quiet, not having any ticking cam noise these cars sometimes have. The oil pressure is very good. The transmission shifts oh-so-smoothly and the brakes pull the car up straight. The windows (right rear slow), lights, power locks, seats, interior lights, all work. The AC, wipers, temp gauge do not, however it shows no sign of overheating. The interior is in reasonably good shape, the leather being a little dry showing some wear and the rear seat headrests need recovering as they have fallen victim of the sun. The headlining is perfect and unmarked. The wood is generally ok but the passenger door cap has been refinished to a lower standard. The car has been repainted and not to a high quality and probably having its rear bumper misplaced at that time. The panels are straight, without any dents and the gaps are good. Looking at the car from below there is a hint of rust coming thru the lower rocker panels. The windshield has some scratches on the drivers side, but could probably be polished out and the rest of the glass and chrome is in very good condition. The floors are not rusty and it does not look like it has been involved in any serious accidents. The electric gas flap does not work but it can be cable operated from inside the trunk. It does not have a radio but the original cassette player is still in the dash. This is a Euro spec car it does not have any cats fitted and will not pass a California emmisions test without work. The brakes also need attention although there have been quite a few hoses replaced recently. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.
