1995 DODGE RAM VAN B2500 A good running van that needs paint... I have owned this van for a several years. I had new brakes, inlcluding new calipers installed then. I also had a new windshield installed. THIS IS THE MOST DEPENDIBLE VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED. It starts easily no matter how cold it is. It drives good and stops good. The V8 motor is smooth and does not smoke. The problems are the paint is peeling, as you can see in the photos. A good paint job and this would be a sharp van. Also the gas guage does not work. The other guages do, so I reset the odometer every gas fill and fill it when it gets to 150-175 miles. I do not know how far it will go on one fill... don't want to run out. My daugher took six of her friends to Baltimore MD for a concert last summer and at 3am the van started sputtering. The guy driving had forgotten about the gas guage and had over 270 mles on the odomiter. They didn't run out... made it to a service station. It is inconvenient, but probably pretty expensive to fix. The AC does not blow cold, but as little as I use it, I have not had it checked. The ABS brake light comes on some times, but the brakes work fine. A friend who is a mechanic told me not to worry about it as long as the brakes work good. It has a nice cd with dvd but it has intermittent outages. I think a wire might be loose, but have not checked it out. There is rust on the bottom drivers side (shown in photo) The undercarriage is clean and not rusty. The interior is not in bad shape, But, needs a good cleaning. I do not use the van much. Occasional runs to Menards or to auctions. My kids are upset that I am selling it because they like to borrow it to take their friends to concerts and camping etc. I have three other vehicles and I told them I would keep it if they would pay the insurance and registration fees every year. Tires are good. I would not be afraid to drive this van anywhere. But, is is being sold "as-is". You buy it... you own it. Milage today is 117,871. I have an auction Saturday and another trip to Menards, so it will be a little higher by the end of auction. NO RESERVE It is expensive to list a vehicle on ebay, So, no games.
