Vehicle Detail
Listed is a 1971 Triumph TR6. Car is in good running condition with the engine holding 50 to 80 lbs of oil pressure, no cam ticking, or smoking from the tail pipe. Compression is even with all cyinders around #125lbs. Transmission shifts smoothly with the clutch engaging and disengaging as it is suppose to and not off the bottom of the floor. Differential is solid with no whine or clunks. Brakes are good with no fade or leakage. I believe all the lights and turn signals are in working order. Wire wheel spline to hubs are in good condition with no clunk or wobbling in the wheels. tires are ok but old. Interior seats, dash, gauges, top frame and top, windows handles , regulators and trim are all there and in working order. Car does have a tonneau cover.. Leatherette panels are in poor condition. Car need a top as the old one has shrunk and is very difficult to attach. Body has some rust in the rockers and the upper panel behind the cockpit. Fenders will need work. Both doors, trunk lid and hood all open and shut correctly with the gaps in decent order. Rear Bumper is straight with some chrome deterioration. Front bumper is slightly dinged on the right side as is the lower porion of the valance be;low the bumper. Nothing major as to effect the inner panels which are very straight. Frame is straight and appears to be rust free with the usual surface rust. I am putting this car on "No Reserve". The car is very drivable as is and would make a very nice project with a great starting base. Milage seems actual. Car was kept in a small midwestern Iowa town since 1979, with me being the third owner. We will be glad to answer any questions you have by email or by phone.
