1965 TRUE SS convertible ,V8 327, powerglide, power steering, brakes, manual windows. 98% there. What i can tell is missing: Front bumper, grill, radiator, radio and gas tank. Rust in the typical areas ie: rockers, floor boards( all carpet still there) . A few spots on the frame. Solid trunk. Trunk is full of parts ie: door handles, head lights, tail lights, tail light extensions, hood hinges, misc interior trim, air cleaner, fan shroud, head light bezels and more. This car was parked inside in running condition in 1991. Owner started to dissassemble for restoration and fell on hard times and hasn`t been touched since 1991. Cowl tag info:Build date 01 stye- 65-16667 trim- 815 flint EUC body 2566 Paint 02 accys W2M. Head and intake castings are correct for the 1965 327 engine. I haven`t removed the gas pedal linkage to inspect the engine casting #`s but there is a matching 01 on the front pad. Thats all i know and can confirm. This will be a complete restoration and you Will NOT be driving this home.Lots to work with at a great price. All restorations start and end at the same point and why start with a high dollar initial investment when in the end the cost to restore plus initial investment is the same. No tire kickers.
