Up for sale is my 1997 Chevy Camaro. Plain and simple the car is not running. I admit that I neglected the coolant system and most likely blew a head gasket. Besides the engine, the car is in decent shape. The body has 135,000 miles on it and still has plenty left to offer if someone is willing to do whats needed. I bought the car about 5 years ago in Connecticut. I'm finishing up school down here and don't have the time for it. The miles were mostly highway. I'm originally from CT so this was transporation home during breaks from class. My summer job for the last 3 years also required ~100 miles/day round trip. Besides the engine, the drivetrain is very solid. It has a 5 speed manual transmission and shifts through all gears flawlessly. The clutch was replaced at about 90k miles and like I said, has mostly highway miles. Two of the tires should be replaced relatively soon. One has a slow leak from a nail but will hold air for about a month or so. There isn't heat or A/C. The heater core blew from the overheating problems and I'm fairly sure theres a pinhole leak in one of the A/C lines. I would rate the body and paint about a 6.5/10. The front end has typical road rash from all the highway driving. The pics below were from last year and do not show a couple minor scrapes and paint chips. Regardless, its still decent for a 13 year old car. The interior is in fair shape. The plastic dash panel adjacent to the windshield is cracked (see pic). Also, the headliner fell apart a few months ago. Other than those two issues with the interior, not a whole lot to complain about. As you can see, the seats and carpets are in pretty good shape. All the lights and switches work. The gas gauge can be a little misleading but still works as do all the other gauges. This car WILL sell if there are any bids on it. It will NOT come with the head unit and sub/amp combo shown in the pics. This car has been a real work horse for me throughout my college years but unfortunately, it needs to go. I'd prefer not to part the car out but I will if it doesnt sell. I have the clean Florida title in hand.
