1968 Torino GT Fastback with factory GT hood scoop. Built 289 HO (High Output) with Edelbrock carb. and intake. Engine starts and runs perfect. C4 transmission that shifts smooth. Dual glass pack exhaust. Original other than steering wheel, Alpine stereo, Alpine 6X9 speakers and Cragar Super Sports wheels. Rear tires are nearly new (less than 500 miles), front tires same condition but a few years old. Have original build sheet. $5000 base coat/clear coat (Dupont Chromabase) paint work in the last year. Entire car stripped to metal and epoxy primed, sealed and painted. Complete color match ie: doors, jams and bottom of hood and bottom of trunk lid. Clear coat was cut and buffed to perfection. Absolutely no orange peel or trash in the clear. Even the dash panel was painted to match. POR 15 rust preventor sprayed on entire floor pan area and on inside of trunk. Trunk finished in factory speckled fleck paint. Every piece of trim was either hand polished or replaced including the grill. New interior including door panels, back seat, back deck, sail panels and molded carpet.. Front seats have Ford covers and need recovering. Tachometer installed in the factory clock bezel. New starter, battery, starter solenoid, air cleaner, chrome breather caps, antenna, brake booster and master cyclinder in the last year. I am throwing in a Cougar center console that will need to be installed. Car has been garaged the last 12 years. Brakes harder than other 3 wheels. Missing Cragar SS caps on front wheels. Front seat upholstery as mentioned above. Needs trunk seal molding as well as both door molding/seals. I have the old ones if you choose to use them. Paint is show quality. Chrome bumpers are driver quality. Needs to be driven more.
