1999 Mercury Cougar - Car runs good and will take you anywhere. It has a "RECONSTRUCTED" title brand. From what I can tell, the she was reconstructed in 2007 at 79,670 miles and now she has over 130K miles, so the current Georgia Title I just got says re-built/rebuildable. Again she was rebuilt over 3 years ago and has been driven over 50,000 miles since. Bought it for my daughter as a first car but she does not want to drive stick shift and she is insisting on a classic style pick-up truck. Here is what I know: Engine runs good. Check engine light is on - I was told by the mechanic that the oxygen sensor should be cleaned or changed - engine runs and sounds good. Air is cold Car shifts good Tires will need to be replaced and it lets you know with the tire noise it makes when driving Body has some minor dents and dings as expected on a 11 year old car Radio does not work It's been priced to make up for those flaws and I will accept offers on it. Had my mechanic check it and other than the issues noted above he said the car is solid. As I said with 4 new tires, I could see this car running for several thousand miles more.
