It displays a very straight body and paint throughout along with nice chrome. The doors, hood, and tailgate open and close correctly. The hood needs a prop to stay up. This El Camino sits right. It drives, handles, and stops well. This is a cruiser with great highway gears in the stout 12-bolt rear end. Under the hood is this strong running 396 cubic inch V8. This "402 cube CTB engine suffix, non-numbers matching big block features high performance induction along with free-flowing dual exhaust & headers. The pullies are polished. The alternator is chromed and the air condiitoning and alternator have polished billet brackets. The engine compartment is painted and detailed, still displaying the original cowl identification tag. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support are solid. This car features power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. The interiior features this comfortable and recently restored bench seat along with matching door panels. The dash features a fully functional Dakota Digital Gauge cluster for the '66 Chevelle. The radio is an underdash mounted CD stereo with the factory location left open. There is a simple cup holder installed for somewhere to put your drinks. The steering column has tilt too. Turn key and ready to drive, this El Camino is a great performance & looks bargain. The bed is solid and straight throughout.
