1995 Isuzu NPR 3.9 Turbo Diesel 16’ Box Truck Motor was rebuilt with all ISUZU OEM parts at a reputable diesel shop at 140000 miles now has 150454 miles on it. Starts and runs but has a cracked head. A new head is $350. I don’t need the truck anymore. Front tires were new last year and have about 1000+ miles on them. Rear still have ¾ tread left. Has new brakes on the font and rotors were turned. Transmissions shifts fine, clutch was new around 100000 miles. This truck still runs but blows back up thru the radiator. I am no diesel mechanic but will answer questions the best I can. If you are close by please feel free to come by by appointment to test drive or look at it. I do not know if water pump, inner cooler is bad or head. I am assuming the worst being the head is why it is listed cracked head. The head was bought from a company in Florida, (RC Truck parts) and sold to me as a NEW head but was a remanufactured head once I started having this problem. Head was taken to local shop and found a blocked(welded) water passage hole. Was drilled open but did not help the problem again assumed head to be cracked as also it was wet behind the exhaust valve in number one cylinder. ALL ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS WILL BE CANCELLED. It will need to be trailered because of over heating after a couple of miles. This truck ran perfect until it a heavy load and driver kept pushing it up hills.
