Hello What I have here is a Champagne Edition VW Bus. This bus is in fantastic unmolested condition. It has been well cared for it's entire life and it shows. There are only a couple of areas that are less than perfect so let me start there. This bus has the typical battery box rust issue (please see photos) the battery has no problem staying in place but the issue must be stated. There is also surface rust along the front of the bus and under the front wind screen. This rust is MINOR and is not causing any issues other than cosmetic. There is also a small dent in the front of the bus but it causes no issues with the interior. Lastly a previous owner in the late 80's installed 4 speakers so the panels have been cut. It was well done but they have been cut into. This bus has no issues other than those mentioned above. It has a strong running fuel injected 2.0 liter with a 4 speed manual which shifts through all gears as it should. The clutch is firm, the breaks are excellent and all tires have 90% tread. It has recent shocks too. ALL electrics work as they should. All lights both interior and exterior work just like they are supposed to. All dash warning lights work, the interior courtesy lights work, the horn, the wipers the rear defroster. All locks work the felt for the windows is good. The interior is free of any rips, tears or funny smells. Both front seats have been professionally recovered and look and feel great. The interior shows it's original corduroy fabric is in great shape. There are seat belts for 7 passengers. All interior panels are in place and not damaged. the original jack is in place and the VW emblem is also included. Also included is the original owners manual. The bus has it's original paint other than small touch ups that have been done over the years. I have just sent the bus to a respected west coast Porsche shop to make sure there are no worries for the new owner. Also included are a stack of receipts dating back to the 80's. This Bus also has all four vw hub caps, the rears are not shown. I'm only selling as my wife is not as excited about the bus as I am and we have four other cars. This is a great bus bought new in Seattle Washington and has lived it's life here in the NW. You will be hard pressed to find a more solid example of a VW Bus for this price.
