It has a drive shaft, so no chain maintenance needed. This motorcycle was an all-out superbike when it was released in the 80's. This was Suzuki's attempt to have the fastest production bike in the world. It is a very powerful machine, pulling low 11 second quarter mile times with near 120 mph trap speeds.
