Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my very cool old 1950 Chevy Panel Sign Shop Truck, Rat-Rod, Hot-Rod. This is a very good running & very driveable truck, that sees everyday use. (I use it for my business.) It's a blast to bomb around in, and has been an excellent PR vehicle for my sign & graphics business. It can do the same for yours! It's powered by a very good running Buick 350/350 automatic combo, taken from a '78 Buick Regal. The engine runs & pulls very strong. It has a brand new Edelbrock carburetor on it, and has approximately 75,000 miles on it. The transmission was completely rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago. (I wish I'd have done this years ago, as it now pulls much stronger, and get much better gas mileage.) It comes with the air-conditioner compressor, and the cruise control...but they haven't been installed yet. The entire front clip from the donor car was installed as well...so this truck now has the IFS, the PS, the PB, and has the disk brakes up front...which has new rotors, calipers, and brake lines. The electrics have been upgraded to a 12v electrical system, and there is an electric fan on the radiator (which is only a few years old too.) This truck has new brake and gas lines...and it runs a full dual 2" coated exhaust system. The rear end is from a Camaro, and it has booster airbags that go with the receiver hitch for towing a trailer. It's running on Coker Wide Whitewall Radials...with about 80% tred on them, mounted on Cragar SS rims that have been powder coated black, with knock-off spinners on them. The Main Body is in EXCELLENT condition. You can see from the pics, that even underneith, there is no rust to speak of on her body! There are a number of body mods on it too...like the frenched in headlights, the shaved door handles and hood, the rear wheel wells are welded are filled, and there are roll pans on the front and back. (I have a pair of bumpers and a front valance that I had planned to put back on it,) I have coated the entire interior of the truck with POR-15, and truck bed liner...so the body is basically 'pickled' in rustproofing, (and this has made it significantly quieter and more enjoyable to ride in.) The interior was then insulated and paneled, and I am installing a new hardwood floor in it, and a new black pleated headliner. (I will update this ad as new pics are uploaded.) It has a bench seat from a '94 Chevy pick-up that is in excellent condition. (but I keep a blanket on it mostly for looks.) There is a basic stereo system in it. This truck runs beautifully. I've taken it on many trips throughout the Pacific NorthWest. From San Fransisco, and up to Seattle...a number of times. It cruises on the freeway very comfortably. I would have absolutely no problem taking this truck on a cross-country trip tomorrow...so there are none of those 'little things' that need to be done to make it comfortably & safely drivable. (I just put over 500 miles on it just this past weekend. another truck show.) This is a super fun truck to drive, and gets gobs of attention wherever it goes. I've had inquirys as to how well this truck would work for a delivery vehicle. Well...I use it daily for my work, plus, once a month I use it to deliver 'meal-on-wheels' to our local senior shut-ins...and it works great for that!!! (plus it has good kharma!! ; ) It has been appraised at $28,000, (for my insurance carrier) about 5 years ago. I am a custom painter by profession, and I will remove my business logos whenever the truck is sold, like in the 1 photoshopped picture. (if the new owner so chooses.) (YES, this truck comes with a clean and clear title.) (there is an assortment of extra parts that I will be sending along to its new owner, like the bumpers, the original bench seat, a box of electrical components, and any extra interior parts I happen to have for it, etc.) It will be very hard for me to sell this truck, as I have so many memories and time and love invested into it...but I needed a bigger truck for my business to haul my scaffoldings and big ladders around in...and I don't have the space to store this, so it needs to go. Whoever does buy it, is going to have a ball in this old panel truck!!! Good Luck & Happy Bidding!!!
