Here I have a 1971 Mustang Mach1 yard find in Golden Colorado,The car when I found it had been sitting for 25yrs and as the pics show was growing weeds out of everywere plus full of hornets nest. After towing the car to my shop I oiled and primed the engine and she fired right up! A quick look under the car showed that the front driver toe board needed replace and the rear passenger also where the car sat on the ground.The car needs weather stripping and felts on the doors and interior redone,The things I have done since I got the car are check all brakes and bearings on wheels so could drive and looked good.put some new tires on the 15 inch rims and added some trimrings. Fixed headlight and trunk brake lights so all working and chaged the turn signal flasher in glove box so work correctly also.Has AM/FM ford radio in car and works wired to rear speakers.I put on some twist down hood locks on the hood and cleaned up the motor to look more attractive. Put in a new windshield and wipers as old ones were very bad.Flushed gas tank and put new fuel pump and line to new 600 holly carb ontop of the spreadbore ford Cobrajet manifold and took car out for test ride noticed no temp signal to guage so relaced sender and flushed radiator and put in new thermostat with a new fan cluthch so now runs cool and guage works, fuel sender was cleaned up and works good oil pressure sender works also and amp guage too.Car right now very drvable and a real looker as the preveouse owner had painted a Boss 351 Clone.Car comes with headliner and rear window seal and louvers plus some tourque plates for the motor if you want more power.The body is fairly straight but needs filler at roof seam were some is falling off due to age.I have not done a marti reprot yet on the car but it was originally a 2v car 351 but lucky for us they swapped in a 72 Cobrajet 351,D2AE-CA 4-bolt block with the matching heads and all. car has headers and full exhaust in good shape,trans shifts good also replaced the kickdown rod for the transmission so drives great.This car just needs some TLC to be a great restored car again with a nice home.
