1969 Mercedes-Benz 280 s, runs and drives, has a inline 6 cylinder engine. The body is in solid shape, it is not rusted out but is in need of work, there are some surface rust spots where the paint had pealed off and it exposed the bare mettle. you will not be fighting rust where you strip the paint and there is no mettle left. the interior is in ok shape it has had a different ignition put in under the dash, the original is still in the dash but does not work. the car is a 4 on the tree and is in operational condition. On Oct-08-10 at 07:29:34 PDT, seller added the following information: i have tried to get the worst parts in the photos the worst rust is on the drivers rocker there are some holes and also in the trunk it will need a trunk floor pan but it looks like the gas tank had been replace at some point it is rust free!
