1969 VW Bug with about $4,000.00 in upgrades/parts and im moving to Hawaii in a month needs a new home. I have done a lot of work on this car and spent a LOT of money on the countless number of upgrades that I have done to it! To name a few of them; New front end body metal and hood, new front adjustable beam with 2 1/2" lowering spindles and camber adjusters, New 16 gal gas tank, New headlights and clear turn signals, All new interior to include tan carpet, black headliner and all the bells and whistles, New JVC I-Pod ready head unit with built in HD radio, New completely re-built with all brand new parts 1600cc single port engine, New H30/31 Brosol Carb, Brand new Bosch (SVDA) vaccuum advance distributor with Pertronix Ignitor Ignition, All new engine tins with Chrome accents, Empi stinger exhaust with muffled insert and MUCH MUCH MUCH more upgrades on the car way too many to list them all! The only thing that the car really needs now to make it a pretty awesome ride is some minor body work and a decent paint job inside and out. This car is my current daily driver and it runs absolutely perfect. It breaks my heart to get rid of it. Must sell very quickly. Only 42,000 original miles. Due to an accident in 2008 all of the following has been replaced and is brand new; New front end body metal, New hood, New 16 gallon gas tank, New adjustable beam with 2 1/2" lowering spindles and camber adjusters, New headlights, and New clear turn signals. I have all of the reciepts for some of the more recent stuff but I do not have a reciept for everything. Other things that are new in the car include; All new interior with tan carpet, New black headliner, New door panels and a few other minor things here and there. The car currently has a new JVC head unit with built in HD radio and you can hook your I-pod up to it through the USB port on the front. I am also incuding the 12" subwoofer w/box and a 750 watt amplifier with two 6.5" door speakers, all of which work, they just need to be installed. 1600cc S/P engine that was completely re-built with all brand new parts in 2003 and since then I have put 8,581 miles on the re-build. Just this year I have installed a completely brand new H30/31 Brosol Carb, brand new Bosch (SVDA) vaccuum advance distributor with Pertronix Ignitor Ignition, all new engine tins with chrome accents, Empi stinger exhaust with muffled insert which still uses the Heater Boxes. Also Due to the fact that I had the original speedometer re-built at the same time I re-built the engine the mileage was reset to 0000 Miles in 2003 and it was rebuilt at about 40,000 original miles. So there is only 48,581 original miles on the car give or take about 100. and MUCH MUCH MUCH more upgrades on the car, way too many to list them all!
