OK, if you're looking for a truck that's all shiny and pretty, you might as well move on to the next one because this is not your truck. If you're looking for a good running work truck that looks like work truck and has enough issues, you won't feel at all guilty for putting a couple dents in it. Shoot, my bet is you wouldn't notice a couple new ones. If this is what you're looking for, you've come to the right listing. We bought the truck just a short time ago to move our camper and a few other things and now that that's done, we no longer need it. Don't know a whole lot about the history, etc. but for the short time we used it, it ran great, pulled very well and gave us no problems at all. The truck is a Plain Jane, 1997 Ford F250 HD, 4WD, 8,600 GVW, regular cab, long bed, fuel injected 351 V8, automatic, 4WD with receiver / trailer hitch. Has good 235 x 85 x 16 heavy ply mud / snow tires, kick out hubs, good heater, tilt wheel, good brakes, frame is solid and the truck actually has very little rust for the year. Truck is has lots of dings, dents, scrapes, scratches and more issues than a room full of Jerry Springer guests but it's got a lot of life left in it. It is a truck and was used as a truck. Air conditioning all seems to be ok but needs charged. Should take care of it but I won't swear to it. Has an exhaust leak from the left exhaust manifold to to a crack in it. Not a big deal but wanted to be certain to mention it. Nuetral safety switch (Ford call it an MLPS I believe) acts up once in a while so there is a starter button in it just in case. I'm sure there are other odds and ends I'm forgetting but in the event I think of anything I will try and post them. One other thing. The odometer reading listed is higher than actually on the truck due to a typographical error when transfering it. The truck actually has 226,??? miles on it. It is, shall I say, cosmetically challenged and it does have more issues than a studio full of Jerry Springer guests but it's a great work truck that should have no problems earning it's keep. Would make a great firewood, work or plow truck. I don't mean to make the truck sound worse than it is but I want everyone to know what they are bidding on. A work truck that was used as a work truck and looks like a work truck. Great truck for the money. The truck is, of course, being sold as is, with no warranty, etc. Deposit due within 48 hours and full payment due within 7 days of auction closing unless other arangments have been agreed to. Also there is a local notary that can do the paperwork transfer, issue tags, temporary transit tags for those out of state, etc. so that the new owner can drive it home.
