Here is a perfect project car, 1968 Cadillac Deville convertible, factory 472 Cadillac motor, automatic transmission. The good- Car has been repainted and looks very nice, its not a show winner but would be a great cruise car or driver. In the pictures the car has dust on it when sitting in the garage, I pulled it out over the weekend and carefully washed it off. The paint truly is beautiful! I have also rebuilt the frontend with several new bushings and lower ball joints, currently the car is ready for a frontend alignment. I have also installed new coils springs front and back. Transmission has been rebuilt with less than 25 miles on it, car has new 3 inch exhaust with a flowmaster type muffler(sounds very nice). I also have checked all the brakes and rebled the lines. Wide white wall tires in excellent shape with lots of tread. I have several extra parts that will go with the car as well. The engine runs extremely well and sounds great! The bad- Covertible top needs replaced, has several holes and slashes in it. Interior needs carpet and lots of detail work, car has a lot of fancy controls on the dash for air conditioning which I haven't checked. The front floor pans have had patch panels welded in, the rear areas have a few pin holes in them. Heater core is also disconnected, this has been this way since I bought the car(I assume its bad but wouldn't hurt to try and hook it up before replacing it). Trunk needs some patch work on inside. Also the front passenger fender has small dent and a spot were the paint cracked from trailer hitting fender(right along the wheel lip). Has a power steering hose leaking. I'm sure I forgot some items about the car, but feel free to contact me through email or phone 3193102957 with questions. I also have the fender skirts ready to install painted to match the car, front seat has been recovered, back needs cleaned and would look good. I have replacement front lower bumper corners as one has rust on the car currently. Thanks! I would recommend trailing the car home as I have not had the front end alignment done, and the power steering leak should be fixed before driving long distance as well. Car must be picked up within 10 days of auction ending!! No Reserve!!
