Its condition is cosmetically equivalent to a 2006/2007. Its all black exterior (including bumpers, exhaust and even its tow ball) give it a “custom” look and the steering and acceleration are so tight that it is hard to believe that it’s a ‘96. This is a small truck with a big 3.9L V6, giving it outstanding power for its size. The extended cab creates plenty of room for front seat passengers and its 60/40 full bench rear seating has a few hidden lockers under the seats for extra storage (see pics). It's already setup with a 4 wire pigtail and ball...just hitch up your trailer, small boat or jetski and go. It even includes the original owners manual. And this extraordinarily clean little truck runs beautifully! Best of all, it's being sold with NO RESERVE... ...and "yes" we ship anywhere! Mechanical: We’ve fully inspected and serviced this vehicle, including full computer diagnostics. It has absolutely no malfunction indicator codes. Absolutely no service indicator lights. Mechanically, it is sound, and absolutely reliable. The motor and fluids are very clean (see photo). Cruise control functions properly. All electronics function properly. Parking brake functions properly. All doors/windows operate properly. CD/stereo operates properly. And the a/c works properly. Driving: This isn't a whiney 4 cylinder. This truck has a 6 cylinder that produces a good power to weight ratio...making it capable of pulling a small trailer/boat, etc. Additionally, it has a comfy and maneuverable ride, making it a good "errand runner". I'm actually amazed at how tight it drives for the age. The steering and acceleration are very, very similar to new. Dodge makes the most comfortable riding truck (imo). In general, Dakotas are noticeably more comfortable riding trucks than their counterparts (Ford Ranger, Chevy S10, etc.). And this Dakota in particular drives/handles extremely well. Exterior: I tell people to expect chips/cracks/dings/scratches etc. on every vehicle that I sell. No exception here. There are a few dings on the truck/hood (most of which could be pulled for about $150 total if you wanted to). That said, however, the paint is very recent and is in outstanding condition. I can't imagine that you'll find a better looking '96. Overall, the exterior's condition is outstanding for its age. Interior: The interior is very, very clean. (see pics). There are a couple of minor cracks on the side of the driver seat, but honestly, the seats/fabric look very new. There are no cracks, chips, or stars in the glass. The headliner is brand new and perfect. The dash has no cracks, fading or dry spots...it is also very close to like new condition. All seats move/operate properly. Overall the interior's condition is outstanding for age. Title: Title is in hand and clear. For local pick up/delivery: Title will be delivered by hand. For shipping: Title will be fedexed (at my expense) within 24 hours of receipt of payment in full. Overall: Cosmetically outstanding for age, mechanically sound, 100% reliable truck that is a pleasure to drive. V6 gives it plenty of power for hauling or towing.
