1987 Toyota Supra 3.0 200hp inline 6 7M-GE engine (non-turbo). 180,950k miles. The car has a clear title. The car does drive and sounds good. I got this car from a friend about 3 years ago. I knew it had not been taken very good care of. There was oil in the spark plug reservoirs from a bad valve cover gasket. I just recently got around to replacing the valve cover gaskets and cleaned up the oil. I also replaced the clutch master cylinder, fuel filter and air filter. The front brake pads were replaced about 2 years ago along with 2 used tires on the front. Car does not overheat at all. Problems: First and most important is it has a rod bearing going bad, very mild right now (only notice it between 2k-3k rpm’s) but will need a rebuild. This is why I no longer want to mess with the car. I just don’t have time for this kind of repair. Also needs a new windshield, emergency brake is almost gone, spark plugs and plug wires (there is a miss on at least one cylinder), back tires have slow leak and not much tread. The flip-up lights are manually raised, probably the relay is bad. It needs a paint job really bad and probably new front and back pumpers. Missing the passenger side windshield wiper arm. Conclusion: I have tried my best to explain the car in detail from what I can tell is wrong with it. I just don’t have time to work on this car so I am cutting my losses and selling it.
