Patina! Patina!! Patina!!! Cool Looking Corvair Spider ! ( the look that everyone wants) 1963 Corvair Turbo Spider Coupe. This car comes from an estate, where it had been sitting for years. We have been playing with it to make it look cool. The car runs and drives but smokes. We have rebuilt the Carb, rebuilt the Turbo, put in new plugs, changed the oil, Instaled a new battery, went through the full systum and it still smokes. The engine must need rings or I did somthing rong. The car starts good and drives, cluch works good, all gears work well and the brakes stop good. We instaled new carpeting, put in a new headliner, replaced all cardboard panels, built new door panels, repainted the entire interior and put seat covers on. (The car also has the folding back seat option.) All glass is good and all windows roll up and down. The body is good with no rust out but the floors did have some small holes. (please look at pictures closely) We put on a used set of 18" wheels and tires. The tires have very good tread but the wheels are showing there age. The car looks great and everyone thinks it's cool. It's like a corvair rat rod with that patina look. We just don't have time to finish it, so It's up for sale for a good price. This little car dose have a cool look and is a real Turbo Spider. The car is worth much more than the reserve. The tack cable dose need replaced and the radio dose not work. The car has a good Idaho title and we can help load but you need to trailer it or have the car transported, It will not drive to your home.
