This is an opportunity to buy an unmolested 79 Fiat convertible and restore it your way. The car is presently being used as an every day driver. The engine runs very strong and it has a 5 speed trans and shifts the way it should and the clutch is fine. It is by no means a perfect car and does have minor problems, that any car with 150,000 miles and 32 years old would have. It could use a front end alignment and possibly a rebuilt steering gear box and new tires. The upholstery is original and needs to be redone. The top is like new and the car was repainted a few years ago, close to the original color.There is very little surface rust, a few small spots but a relatively rust free car. There is no radio and does not have air conditioning. With some maintenance this car can continue to be used as an every day driver, or could quite easily be restored. The California registration is current until March of 2011,and the title (pink slip) is in my name. I am putting it up for auction and will sell to the highest bidder. Please do not bid on this car unless you intend to purchase. I live in Anaheim Ca. and you can come and inspect the car before you bid, or pay someone else to inspect it for you.
