Very Nice 2004 Passat. You would never know this car has 158k miles by looking at it. It looks great! Runs great as well. This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.--> On Sep-25-10 at 17:01:13 PDT, seller added the following information: This car has been exclusively maintained here. I went to our service department and got all of the records. I have records all the way back to the pre delivery inspection done before the car was sold when it had 8 miles. Lots of oil changes, etc. Looks like the owner spared no expense. I talked to the service advisor that knows this car well and he confirmed this. He did say that the owner had the transmission overhauled about a month ago by an outside shop, but of course I have no record of that. The timing belt was done by us at 94,361 miles, so it will be due for another in 20-40k miles if you go by VWs recommendation. I do not know about the balance shaft mod. Highlights of the service history are: oil changes every 5k miles, brake flushes, coolant flushes, cv boots, water pump, timing belt, tensioner, fuel filters, heated seat recall, brake jobs, a/c fan replacement, glow plug recall at 137k, brake replacements, boost issue at 155k fixed by replacing intercooler hose (turbo boosting correctly), motor mounts at 155k, thermostat at 157k including temp sensor. -Michael Trammell
