They run and shift smoother than my dad’s 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali. Truck has always started on the first try and has never had any mechanical problems. Oil and filter have been replaced every 3000 miles. I just had it done, so you are good for another 3000 miles. It has never burned oil or required oil between oil changes. Exhaust was recently worked on. It started to leak between a joint in the system after a bolt broke. They removed and replaced all the hardware and made sure the rest of the system was working properly. Air filter, differential fluid, and transfer case fluid changed last year. Brakes and Tires: I had the front rotors and pads and the rear rotors and pads replaced within the last year. So the brakes are basically brand new and will last very long. Tires have probably 45-60% tread left. They shouldn’t need replacing for awhile. A full-size spare is included. The left rear wheel bearing was replaced in August. Exterior: Paint is in great condition. It has stainless steel step bars that make getting into and out of the tuck much easier. There is a little rust forming on the bottom of the 3rd door. This is common in Chevys and something we Chevy drivers have to live with. I took a close-up picture of it so you know what I am talking about. There is also a little bubbling starting under the driver’s side door handle. I took a close-up picture of that as well. There are only two other notable marks. Both just under the bed rail on each side. You can see them in the pictures I took if you look hard. The passenger’s side mirror would bounce a little when going over bumps and potholes, so I used black electrical tape to stabilize it. You only notice it if you look for it. It’s probably fine without it, but it was just annoying to me. All in all, the exterior is in pretty good condition for its age. Interior: Interior is in great condition. Non-smoking interior. Seats have no rips, tears, or stains. Dash is in great condition, no cracks or rips. Carpet is clean and includes floor mats. All windows and locks work with no problems. Rear seat folds up easily for more storage. Center console works is in great condition and has 2 cupholders. Radio/CD/Cassette all work great. Air conditioning was serviced and recharged last summer. It blows very cold. Other: The 4x4 works great. It shifts from 2HI into 4HI or 4LO with no hesitation. This truck has seen some heavy snowfalls and has never been stuck. The truck has a 2” receiver and has electrical hookups for towing. The tow/haul mode works great. The previous owner had it wired a little different. You can see the button behind the keys he had wired to toggle tow/haul on and off. It functions and tows great. Front and rear U-Joint was replaced last year. History: I bought this truck in January 2009. I knew the previous owner and the history of the truck. Truck has never been used for plowing or delivering pizza or anything else goofy. Title is clean and there is nothing to hide with this truck. My reason for selling is that I am moving to downtown Chicago, and this will not fit at my new place. I need a smaller vehicle.
