Vehicle Detail

1937 Packard 12 1506 Sedan, fresh from 40 years of storage in a southwest Missouri barn, this is an amazingly solid and complete car. There are some parts missing which I will list, but under the hood, it looks like it was driven in to the barn and parked. The metal body is very solid and has NO rust out that I can find. The runnung boards which are impossible to find are in great solid condition. The hood and the trim are near perfect. The engine is correct and complete. The car was sold in Wilmington Delaware in November 1936 so it was an early 37 V12. The engine number is 905633. This was the 1937 132" wheel base hot rod for Packard in that year. The body cowl data tag shows the car to be 1023 233. The interior is shot but the doors close well and there is no sag when opening which indicates the body wood to be good. There are no garnish moldings, gas tank, and the drivers side fenders are missing and no front bumper. The dual sidemount hardware is intact and the cloisennae horn button is nice. It looks as this may have been a donor car for an accident a long time ago. There is no title for the car. It does have four correct wheels and 4 tires that hold air so transport is no problem. The car is locted in central Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. 500.00 dollar deposit required via Paypal in 24 hours. I will part the car out if there is no interest in the complete car so keep in touch if it does not sell at the low reserve I have set on it.
