Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is one 1984 Honda Goldwing gl1200. This was a factory standard or the naked production model. I have owned/ used for 6 years as my daily commuter. Bike has clean title and never been dropped. Stator replaced by previous owner. All maintenance current with battery, oil, and rear brake pads done begining of this season, All brake fluids flushed last season, fuel and air filter done 2 years ago. Tires (Metzler Marathons) both done 3 years ago see pics. This bike has zero mechanical issues, it has simply been recently replaced. All cosmetic mods done by myself. HD fiberglass batwing fairing has never been damaged and uses HD brackets mounted directly to handlebars for easy removal if desired. Shovelhead saddlebags and brackets were purchased new 5 years ago. Air dam and lower fairing fabricated from new steel stock. Air dam made with quick removal center piece for oil changes. All extra driving lights work with separate switches for the larger and smaller pair. Corbin backrest folds down for easy mounting of bike and is adjustable up/down foward/back and tilt. I do not have original seat only the solo currently mounted which does not have any rips or tears. Fork bag, rear fender bags, and cargo net included. Rear fender bags are canvas military originally black now sunfaded could use fresh die bath. Leather grip and lever wraps included. Windshield only 3 years old and very clean no scratches. Also included are new spare throttle cables both the push and pull and a Clymer manuel. Paint job professionally done four years ago has a couple sratches on fairing located on left side about 1.5 inch long seen in second pic and right edge (by grips) about inch tall and light key scratches around both saddlebags key cylinder. No frame, subframe, or chassis mods were performed on this bike. I did not cut, weld, or alter the frame, subframe, or chassis to achieve current look. All cosmetic items were mounted using existing bolt holes. This bike could easily be stripped back down to the factory naked version if desired. A factory dual seat would also slip back onto this scoot if needed, there are several listed on ebay frequently along with newly produced models available from Corbin, Saddleman, and other seatmakers. Bike is available for local viewing in southwest Minneapolis metro area. Buyer responsible for transport of vehicle after sale. All emails answered daily. Thank You.
