i will take $500 off the winning bid because the car needs a new carb. its been running and driving fine but the carb needs adjusted about every other day, and it has already been rebuilt once. they only cost 385.00 professionally rebuilt and are guarenteed to work. this auction is for a custom 1954 chevy. i have put about 1000 miles on this car this summer and have just had a blast with it. i just got a new car and dont really have the garage space for this anymore. my loss is your gain because this car is 56 years old , and it has some things that need worked on but overall it runs and drives great. im going to break the car down into sections in this listing so it will be easier to read whats been done and what might need fixed, i am trying to make sure nothing is left out. if you have any question about anything please email me and ill tell you what you need to know. BODY the hood has been welded to 1 piece ( no seam in the middle), all emblems and trim from the beltline down have been shaved smooth, truck key shaved, antenna shaved, new front floor panels put in, custom orange paint on the car, and a beige roof. the bodywork looks pretty good but a little wavy down the sides. the car has been lowered 3 inches front and back, 3" lowered springs in the front and 3" drop blocks in the back. MECHANICAL The motor is the original inline 6, it has new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new cap and rotor, new 12 volt coil, new 12 volt condensor, the carb has been rebuilt, it has a new alternator ( this car has been completely converted to 12 volt) new bulbs all around , new taillight lenses, new headlights. Gas Tank out of a mustang that has been cleaned, This car has a electric fuel pump, and all new gas line, some new brake lines. the breaks work well but the front right needs adjusted or a new brake pad because it pulls right when you first drive it but the pull goes away after you make stop ( its not a dangerous pull or anything just didnt want to leave anything out) all the oil has been changed in the car at the beginign of the summer ( motor, trans, rearend) INTERIOR the car has custom leather seats out of a 2002 lincoln they are all hooked up so the power works in them. lumbar, tilt, front back ect.ect.. the interior of the car was sprayed with undercoating before all the interior was installed. it needs a new ignition ( the one in it works fine but you dont need a key to turn it) it has new tan carpet on the floor and door panels, it doesnt look to bad but wasnt done by professional's. no headliner or trunk carpent both of those need finished. new cd player and a new box in the trunk. the dash and all the interior window trim has been paitned to match the roof. click this link to check out the video walkaround. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccelSwZWJGA this is video of the interior. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5zLaYTA1X4 the car has a CLEAN title and There is NO RESERVE. im sure i have left something out so if you have any questions at all please dont hesitate to email me at... caseyscustoms@yahoo.com
