1962 Chevrolet Impala SS Project Original V8 SS car, Style code 1847, Paint code 900 (black) with black interior. Original bucket seat car (seats included). Car was equipped with power steering and power brakes. Steering control valve and cylinder are on the car. Power brake master cylinder and booster included with car. No motor with car, but a turbo 350 transmission will be included. All parts that came off car are included along with many extras. See pictures. SS trim included with car is in good condition. Would need polished to show well. Very few small imperfections. Bumpers are straight and very usable as is or would need to be rechromed to show well. Body had been removed from frame and frame sandblasted and painted a few years ago. Frame looks good and has no rust. Frame could be cleaned to be very presentable. New fuel lines and brake lines were installed at that time. They have surface rust on them now. Brakes and wheel cylinders were replaced also. Windows are in good condition, vent windows do show some separation and weathering. Windshield and rear window do show a few minor scratches. Side windows are usable, with an extra set included. All stainless trim around windows are in excellent condition. Dash is complete with radio and SS grab bar. Car has substantial rust but is repairable. Rust around rear wheel openings, floor pans, floor pan braces, trunk pan, inner rockers, front fenders, hood, and lower doors. Rear wheel openings could be repaired with repair panels, full quarters would not be necessary. Car is solid and straight just above rear wheel openings. Inner rockers would need to be replaced along with floor pan braces. Floor pans would need to be replaced. Front fenders could be repaired with lower patch panels. Trunk pan has a rust hole 5"x3" in bottom, and is weak in other areas. Rear body mounts are rusted and would need to be replaced. Extra drivers door is included along with many other miscellaneous 62 parts. Vin tag is missing, title is clear, body tag is in place and in good condition. Call Jon with any questions 309-221-0122
