1984 Porsche Carrera The best classic porsche color, silver, with black interior All upgrades in place- All of the correct improvements from the "SC" years. The Carrera replaced all of the normal "SC" issues. This car is very original, not beaten or race modified. custom pioneer stereo, infinity speakers all around, ipod direct jack, Professional kill switch intalled under the dash All Gauges work Anti-sway bar installed by porsche in front trunk full tool kit, no daily leaks, there will be a small droplet of oil if car sits for several days Easily passes NY inspection & inexpensive insurance Very Fun to drive, classic fun in every way great wheels and tires- very nice Dunlops at 80% fully maintained binder demonstrating all maint since purchase, includes window sticker body and paint are excellent for age, paint is strong-normal, looks great from 6ft, normal road chips, has normal paint wear for age, car polishes and waxes very nicely. was tapped from behind -- completely fixed by professional-fully documented buy and drive anywhere, Beautiful Air Cooled performace--will never overheat. fantastic miles per gallon considering the level of performance All heaters work, All blowers and All levers work All power options work AC WORKS!--recently serviced, K&N Air Filter installed Car Cover included Always garaged 5 speed and clutch are fine, no grinding. recently serviced- new fluid , parts including synchro, etc. Clutch is good, all gears are good. Some double clutching required from time to time (I am being picky). Shifts nicely for 25 yr old car, but it does not shift like a new honda, make no mistake, these cars are for people that know how to drive. I drive this car regularly with no problems. known issues ( I am picky) : needs: front fog cover, light is fine, works as it should, but is cracked needs new power sunroof motor, manual crank is fine, no leaks. Starter works fine 90% of the time, when the car is very hot 90 degree summer day, it needs to cool a bit for a clean start, I was told this was the result of a dry spot in the starter. A new starter is reasonable at around $200. I have not found it necessary to replace. Major service just completed, Oil changed less than 50 miles ago, upgraded headlights-very nice for night time driving All Manuals included, nice car cover, AND detail Shop Manual ($100) Please ask questions, all sales are final, more pix if requested, will ship anywhere at buyer's cost.
