Vehicle Detail

Underneath it all was an awesome period built motocross machine. I cleaned the fuel system, filed the points, changed the fluids and installed new plugs and thats all it took to be doing stand up wheelies up and down the street. This is BY FAR the most fun Triumph I have ever owned. It gets an unbelievable amount of attention! Just hauling it from home to work in my truck I had dozens of people asking about it. People go nuts when you hop on a 650 Triumph and do a stand up wheelie down the block! The bike is in very good condition for its age. It could either be ridden, raced or restored. The engine and transmission need no attention, the carb is sticky so it will need a good cleaning, clutch is good, tank needs sealed as it gets damp in a couple spots up high, the paint is old, the seat needs a cover, the front fork seals need cleaned/replaced, tires are very old and would need replaced to be safe, it is a 45 year old bike and will need the typical attention of a machine of that age. There is no title as the person I got it from said it was NEVER registered in the US and was a devoted race/off-road bike. The numbers were run by the Washington State Patrol and nothing came up, so, getting a title should be fairly simple. I think the only parts on the bike less than 25 years old are the grips and spark plugs since I put them on. Starts first kick, unless the tickler sticks, then it starts on the second kick! I wish I didn't have to sell this one, but a home remodel forces me to. See all the pictures and ask questions. The video shows the bike starting cold, the carb was sticky, but you get the idea. The shipping arrangements will be up to the buyer. I can deliver to a shipper within 15 miles of 99223 for free. I may be able to deliver to you, but you need to work out the details with me BEFORE the auction ends.
