Vehicle Detail
1981 Honda CB750 Custom 749cc DOHC 4 cylinder 4 carbs quad exhaust dual front disc brakes adjustable rear suspension compressed air adjustable front suspension NEW Battery ALL ORIGINAL ONLY 10,62x Miles Have clean title. I'm the second owner of this bike. My uncle bought it new out of a crate in early 1982 as a left over '81 model. It sat from about 1989 to 2002, when I pulled it out of his garage. At that time we cleaned the carbs, cleaned the fuel tank, changed the plugs and it fired right up. I put on new O.E. tires (less than 1000 miles on them now). We bled the brakes to get rid of all the old fluid and changed the hoses. The carburators were tuned and synchronized after that, and are still in pretty good shape (but not absolutely perfect). While in storage, my baby cousin decided it was fun to drop the tank on the floor a few times so it has a few dents and paint chips. Other than that, the bike just shows wear that you would expect to see on a 30 year old bike. There is some surface rust on the exhaust and chrome side covers, and the fenders and light housings are pitting some. It's a very honest, cool old bike that was one of the hottest motorcycles of it's day. It screams pretty good too with a 9500 rpm redline. I rode this bike a lot a few years back, but lately it hasn't been getting enough attention. I hate to sell it but just don't really need it anymore. This would be a great first bike for someone starting to ride, or would be an excellent start for an original restoration or for a brat-style custom. Please email with any questions. Thanks.
