Vehicle Detail
Listed is a 1998 Chevrolet Geo Prizm LSI with 113,975 miles. VIN is 1Y1SK5288WZ423914. Do the research on these vehicles, and you’ll find they are very dependable. I work about 90 miles from home, so I put almost 900 miles per week on vehicles. Just recently I purchased a Honda Civic Hybrid. And because I have 6 other vehicles (truck, custom van, 2 mini-vans, hybrid, and Lesabre with 288K miles on it) we decided to get rid of this Geo Prizm – we just don’t need it. This nice mid-size 4 door sedan 4 cylinder vehicle runs very good. Cosmetically, there are only a couple things that I need to mention. On the front hood of the car, there are several little circle rust spots (see picture). Not sure why these rust spots because the vehicle has hardly any rust anywhere else – it’s in excellent shape. Also, there are some stains on the cloth interior on the drivers side in the door by the arm rest, and on the front seats where your legs are, but not where your back is (see pictures). Other than these few things, this vehicle is in pretty good condition. Mechanically, there are a couple things to mention as well. The back passenger side inside door handle does not work (see picture). However, the outside door handle works fine, it’s just the inside. The air conditioner is cold and works great, but the blower runs on only one speed – fast. So that would need to be fixed. It may just need a fuse – don’t know. Also, once your speed gets to about 70-75 mph, there is a vibration, so the tires may need balanced – not sure. We don’t know of any other issues, mechanically or cosmetically – but we’re confident that if you get this vehicle, you’re getting a good running dependable car. We are the 2nd owner, and the previous owner bought it new. The headliner is brand new, and cost ~ $200 to get it fixed. As you can see from the pictures of the inside, other than the stains on the front driver’s side door panel and front seats, the inside is pretty clean. The front seats could easily be covered with seat covers to make that a non-issue. Please see my 100% feedback – I intend to keep it that way. I have done my very best to be honest in explaining this vehicle so that if you buy this vehicle, there will be no surprises. Obviously when one buys something as is, there are no guarantees. So it would be best if you can come and test drive the vehicle. Since I live in South central (Brownstown) Indiana, and drive to Indianapolis about every day, I can work with you if you’re in the general central Indiana area for delivery - if need be. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call me at 812.569.0321 (cell) anytime, day or night, up until about 11 PM EDT. If I don’t answer, please leave a message, and I’ll return the call as soon as I can. Generally it should only be a few minutes. Good luck, and thanks for looking.
