This is an original 1933 Ford 5 Window Deluxe Coupe with racing history. It appears to have been a very early stock car, is in poor conditon, and needs complete restoration. Please look closely at the pictures before you bid, and as with most items it probably looks better in pictures than in person. It has had some body work done to it buy the previous owner, and needs a lot more done to it before it would be nice. The roof has been filled in, but the orignal tack strip railing channel is still underneath if you wanted to put an original soft top back in it. The insides of the original coupe doors have both been cut out from the bottom of the window down to shave some weight. The inside of the decklid has also been cut out, is dented and has holes. The decklid is pretty much beyond repair. The floor has some rust, and has had holes cut in it in several places where a roll bar had been welded to the frame. The lower 4-5 inches of the pass side wheel well has been patched over poorly with metal on the outside. The bottom front of each quarter panel has a square patch on the inside. The back corners of the quarters have some bondo/metal in them from being dented up. The firewall has been cut out for a battery box. The cowl has some rust on top in the back of the channel that goes around the cowl vent lid. The upper passenger side cowl post has had some damage, has putty from body work that was not finished. Overall, I don't think that this coupe is as rusty as most 33-34 junky coupes that you find. But it is pretty beat up and modified to race unfortunately. One bright spot is that is has a fairly nice 33 deluxe dash. The chassis is also in poor condition. It still has the x-member, but has been cut and welded back together with another frame right in front of the bottom of the cowl. The frame/chassis has been highly modified, and has had stuff welded to it all over the place. I do not have a title for it, it is being sold with a bill of sale only.
