Amazing 1972 BMW 3.0 CS coupe for sale for the first time on Ebay with NO RESERVE, FINAL BID WINS THE CAR... This is the perfect daily driver or candidate for restoration. California owned throughout its life. Malaga red with tan interior and automatic transmission. This one of the most beautiful body style BMW coupes made. Its body style is also referred to as E9. These cars are great investments. Prices of these cars have been holding up well as there are fewer and fewer good cars on the road. This car just had a 7k mechanical repair in 2008. The AC system was totally replaced. New compressor, evaporator, receiver/drier, blower motor and more. This AC system works really well and blows coooooold. Not many of these cars came with AC systems and this one works great. Also its front struts, transmission service, new tire rods, new door stops, new hazard and window switches have been done. New bushings and differential mounts. See the work in picture of work order below. The car runs and drives strong. It starts right up and doesnt require a lot of effort to start. The transmission shifts smooth and crisp. Car accelerates strong and brakes very well. Motor does not smoke. So what does it need: wheel bearing going bad and you can hear it hum when driving, trunk lock missing, left rear window not working (others work fine). Also it has some minor road rash-dent on right front of nose, rear under bumper has dent, minor dings/chips around paint. The paint is still very nice for a daily driver car. It can be enjoyed the way it is or re-sprayed. Interior is very nice. All seat covers are excellent but back seat arm rest show some cracking, dash has small crack at center. The rust prone areas are very good still. The trunk floor and shock towers are very good and show no rust. However the rockers have rust but are repairable.
