1948 International Harvestor KB-5 hoist truck This is a listing for a nice running older truck, It has been in our family for decades. We do not use it anymore, we have decided to sell it. It has a clean and clear title, and is located in southwest Minnesota zip code 56152. The very detailed description is listed below, this is a local pickup only, please ask any questions you have before bidding, I am happy to answer, Phone number provided on request. Please read thouroughly before asking questions, view all pictures carefully in case i missed something. Engine- starts and runs fine, strong starter, flathead gas inline 6 engine, oil pan has some oil on it, does not leave puddles, does not affect vehicle. Might need a exhaust donut. Transmission- manual, all gears work, has a 2 speed splitter. Clutch and pto- clutch works fine, pedal feels smooth, pto for the box works fine. Body- has been painted red 2 years ago, no filler was used, has small rust through at the back bottoms of the front fenders and very light surface rust on the bottoms of the doors, roof has a larger dent and the same as the passenger back side of the cab, driver front fender has some damage, and a smaller crease in the passenger front fender, the grille was backed into at one time, we straightened it, also there is is a bag of chrome grill fins that go with the truck also, glass is nice, passenger side door glass has a crack in it and has been siliconed at one time, the cab back glass has a crack in it also. Box- 12 foot long, 6 ft 8 inches wide, inside dimensions, floor is like new! Top of bed has stake pockets you can build it taller if needed, there are some rust holes in the bottoms of the stake pockets and the front of the box, the tailgate is a piece of plywood that slides in place, nothing fancy. Tires- no leaks, have decent tread, tires show a little weathering, nothing bad. Brakes- manual brakes, seem to work fine Hydraulic cylinder- works fine, has a leak in the bottom when it goes up, thread sealant might be needed. Electrical- No lights work, It might be a fuse, I dont know, I do not know these trucks or have a manual Interior and Gauges- Nice!! We updated it 2 years ago to make it more comfortable around the yard, has 2 bucket seats, floor has been carpeted and the same as the headliner, speedometer and gauges do not work, a little tlc might fix everything, the odometer shows 9,999. But the speedo dont work, I do not know the official mileage, but my guess would be, not much more, it has been on the same place as my grandpa had gotten it a long time ago. Interior smells nice and clean!! Very comfortable! Windows might need a lubing, this has been sheded for the last 20 years. I think I covered everything the best i can, I am not trying to hide anything, I have great feedback, I am a honest buyer and seller here on ebay, This is a local pickup only, Zip code 56152, I reccomend trailering it home, it has not been on the road in a long time.
