Vehicle Detail

This my 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II Pro Street , Super Comp SS/A , Super Stock .... The car still wears the original vin tag and even have the fender tag in place , the Headlights and taillights work ,multiple items that came from the factory that was kept in place. When I was rich and making more money that I could spend , I bought this car , paid GB Brink $19,000 for it and then had my engine built at the tune of another $14,000, had the body stripped and painted of $5500, Fresh Pro built Transmission ,Turbo System, custom exhaust and hours and hours of professional labor at $50 per hour .... overall you have about $58,000 US Dollars . Now here is what is funny (to some) , I never ran it down the track even one time...never even once, the motor , the trans and all have less than 5 miles...The plates were actually current back in 2007 I think and its a shame that I let all this time and all this money sit and go to waste without any enjoyment.....Sign of the times I guess. I will give you all the particulars that I can possibly give, the winner will be given the previous owners info and I will give you the builders info for discussion upon request. On Sep-09-10 at 21:31:31 PDT, seller added the following information: The Car : Plymouth Belvedere II.... Rustfree California Black Plate car ...Alston Back Half professionally done to the highest degree, 10 Point Cage Certified, Lightweight Doors with latches and hinges that close and latch perfectly, Fitted Lightweight Fiberglass Trunk that fits excellent and easily removed by one person, Max Wedge SuperStock Hood with integrated Scoop that is lightweight and easily removed by one person, Fiberglass Bumpers, all fitted professional. The Alston Fab with a 9 inch rear end and 4:10 Gears , 35 spline Strange Axles and Spool . The tags were current in Aug 2007 and the person that owned in kept it as a California Black Plate Registered and came with the registration. I want to make sure that everybody knows that this was a 10.76 ET Car before I had all the work done and I think was certified to 8.0 ET. The car has fully adjustable suspension in both front and rear , the ball joints are new and the suspension is tight and perfect working order. Full disc brake set up , with racing Studs and Weld Wheels. The Drivetrain: First of all there is no way that I have the ability to tell you everything that this engine and Drivetrain has but I will tell you what I have that is in print..... Bought Engine as a Mopar 426 Max Wedge from a Machine Shop in Washington called Delta Machine, Completed Engine that Dyno Tested by Copp Brothers that rated just over 840 HP with 7 pounds of Boost (I think the turbo is turned down as the builder knew I was a novice, it ran 9 seconds Flat with breaking the tires loose in a less Built Chassis, they ran it 3 times and then pulled the engine and sold the Chassis before I was able to buy the engine. I had the Valves done , new Headgasket and refurbished the Turbo Routing and ran the exhaust thru the Drivers fender , when it goes thru the turbo it baffles it and its not loud at all butit was alot of work and came out awesome with the fabrication of the polished tubes and built to last. the 426 Has Brooks Aluminum Rods, A-1 Stainless Racing Valves, The Block shows to be done .030 over with Blower/Turbo Charged Pistons from Jahns ( I have the rings part number package from the previous owner), receipt shows Crower Rockers, TCI Lightweight Balancer, ATS Advanced Turbo System with Spearco Rajay Wastegate, the notes show 88.5cc with Guides on the head, Titanum Rotainerg, Hamberger Chrome Shafts, Vanco Jet Springs, Torquer Edelbrock, 3" exhaust from Turbo .... Some of the tickets are too old to read and some I have no idea what they even mean but the list does go on with the engine. I had the 727 Mopar transmission professionally done with racing upgrades and a Reverse Valve Body with B&M Shifter and it too has less than 5 miles on it (no runs ever) .Aluminum Radiator with high-cool fan . It has the Latest MSD Ignition and adjustable MSD Boost Timing Master that can be adjusted in the car. Multiple pins come with that is plug and play for various temps , elevations and firing time (again its beyond me but I asked for the best). The Interior on the car is upgraded for the Strip however the dash is in tact and retrofitted with a full guage set that functions perfect . You could not build a easier and more reliable car , it always starts right up on its own, has a safety shut off , its pretty quiet for a race car , handles good but has just been sitting and sitting so here it is for sale , I am selling it as is and where is and will give the winner all the paperwork that I have including anything that I may come across afterwards that has the specs and summary of the car. I am asking that you get your inspections done prior to winning or bidding as I do not want someone to show up and want to take it to the strip and all that , inspection companies are available to look at anything you want or you are welcome to come and spend as much time as you need before you bid. I would like to paid in a maximum of 3 days after the auctions end . I am going to set the auction reserve just under half its total investment and let it go where it goes .... This is pennys on the dollar and we really need the money much much more than the car sitting in storage....I wish you luck and please ask me any question or get me to take any picture that I cannot show or have posted. Again Good Luck and Thanks. PS. More pictures will be posted .............On Sep-13-10 at 15:10:50 PDT, seller added the following information: RESERVE LOWERED 9-13-10 at 4:10 pmOn Sep-16-10 at 20:20:28 PDT, seller added the following information: RESERVE LOWERED 9-16-10 at 9:20 pmOn Sep-19-10 at 07:10:45 PDT, seller added the following information: FINAL RESERVE LOWERED $8,000 9-19-10 at 8:10 am
