1968 Triumph GT-6 Mk1 Overview: This is one of the finest GT-6 Mark 1's that you will ever see. If it is a GT-6 that you want, you could never rebuild or restore one for anywhere near my asking price. This was a full body-off restoration where every bushing, bearing, nut and bolt has been replaced. Engine: New pistons, valves, and silicon-bronze guides; new oil and water pumps, new cam, main and rod bearing, line bored and balancedfrom flywheel to harmonic balancer with a lightened flywheel; Suspension & Steering: Has been completely gone through with all new universal joints, seals, bearing and bushing, tie-rod ends and differential ring and pinion gears; Transmission: New front and rear bushing, synchromesh and lay shaft; Finish: Every part was stripped and pr-coated with PPG's DP-90; the final coat is PPG's 2-stage Concept; Amenities: All Connolly leather seats, Wilton wool carpeting; new chrome; dual point Mallory distributor; all instruments & switches rebuilt; stereo system; new wiring harness; new wire wheels & hubs with Dunlop tires; Payment: A deposit of $500.00 within 48 hrs of close of auction; Final payment to be cash or cashiers check within 7 days of close of auction; Buyer to take care of his own shipping at Buyers expense.
