Vehicle Detail

84 300 SD California Diesel M B multi fuel low miles It runs on regular Diesel, Bio-diesel, SVO – (straight vegetable oil) or WVO – (waste vegetable oil) Presently is running of a blend of 50% bio diesel and 50% vegetable oil. Multi Kraftstoff 84 30 SD Ca durch eine BANDMITTE Technologie. WVO SVO DIESEL Converted professionally on a Mercedes Shop, by a Diesel Mercedes Benz Certified technician, (records included), you can fill up your single tank with 100%: SVO or Bio-Diesel or Diesel Fuel, or any combination of this fuels, with no risk to ruin your engine You can start it off on straight vegetable oil, even in cold temperatures of 25°F -30°F with no need to use any “blends” or anti gelling additives. You can also run it off regular diesel, bio diesel, vegetable oil, or any combination of the 3 on the same fuel tank. If you are looking for a perfect, mint, needs nothing car this car is not for you. But if you are looking for a reliable, economical form of transportation with Mercedes Benz class security and comfort that you can stuff in and go to work, play golf, go to the beach or mountains or take cross country with the option to use your own 100% Bio Diesel or VO or WVO for practically nothing, then this may be your car. And with the SVO WVO kit installed you can run the car on WVO practically for free, forever. A BIG plus over the Hybrid cars, because even the best Hybrids have to use gasoline and are very expensive to repair, just check how much it cost to replace the transaxle or the "special" battery on a Prius. Why diesel? Article by dieselgiant.com Reasons why diesel engines are far superior to gasoline engines: · Far more torque. A typical gasoline engine has a torque to horsepower ratio of something like 0.9: 1. A diesel on the other hand is more like 2.5 : 1 or even higher. Why is torque so important? Well, torque is what actually supplies the power to move the vehicle and anything you might be towing. Horsepower tells you how "quickly" you can apply that torque to the ground. A big rig might only have a 400 HP engine, but it also puts out 2000+ pound feet of torque. That's why a big rig goes up steep hills so slowly when he's loaded, but he can do that forever. If a big rig had a gas engine in it, he would slow down much sooner, and he would likely not even be able to make it up a really steep hill, because he would simply not have near enough torque to pull himself up the hill. · Far better fuel economy Diesel has more potential energy in it than gas does, so it takes significantly less diesel fuel to get the same amount of released (useable) energy. · Much longer engine life. Why? By its nature, a diesel engine simply must be built much, much beefier than a gas engine. A gas engine has spark plugs which cause the fuel/air mixture to ignite in the cylinders. A diesel is a compression engine, meaning it squeezes the fuel/air mixture until the mixture builds up enough heat that it ignites on its own, which is a much more powerful explosion inside the cylinder than a gas engine experiences. Hence, in order to handle that extra explosive force, a diesel engine has to be much heavier duty than an equivalent gas engine. This therefore leads to the engine being able to last far longer than a gas engine, assuming proper maintenance is done on it, which of course applies to any engine, regardless of what fuel it uses. · As an example, a typical gasser is intended for 200,000 miles of life before it needs any serious engine work. And that's only the more modern gas engine designs in the last 15 years. · Also, on a related note, diesel fuel (more properly called diesel oil) is classified as oil - a lubricant. Gasoline is classified as a solvent. Just think of what that does to the inside of an engine over time... · Sometimes cheaper maintenance costs. Why? Well, diesel engines just don't have as many parts as a gas engine does. · Now a little trivia: · A diesel engine can burn other fuels with absolutely no modifications at all. Rudolph Diesel, the inventor of the Diesel engine, actually ran his engine on peanut oil when he first introduced it to the world; there was not diesel fuel in that time. · Diesels can run on a variety of what are collectively referred to as bio-diesel fuels. These include vegetable oils of many sorts, including used deep frying oil. It is true that some modern gasoline powered automobiles can run methanol, but you would first need to change the engine oil from conventional to full synthetic in order to safely run ·These Mercedes Diesel cars typically get close to 30 MPG mileage 23-27 city and 26-30 highways with an average MPG of 25-28 overall (not bad for a heavy full size Car).. ….but on homemade bio diesel who cares, it runs for almost free, yes for almost FREE if you use WVO or make your own Bio Diesel. I presently own 2 MBZ Diesels converted to run on svo, wvo, bio diesel or diesel I am not a mathematician or a genius, but if I buy a new car let’s assume my monthly payment will be around $300 - $600.00 for 36 - 60 months depending of the Total car price plus interest, (obviously not counting the “down” payment or the “trade in allowance” for my used car, and the insurance premiums) but if I buy a good condition used Diesel Mercedes I find very difficult to spend $300.00 to $600.00 per month for 36 or 60 months on repairs or maintenance, besides that the more I drive the car the more I save, comparing the diesel price at the pump. NOT taking into consideration if I want I can make my own bio diesel or use WVO and the car can be driven for practically free. If you are reading this auction description, chances are you are looking to buy a car or just comparing fuel mileage cost or fuel alternatives. You can buy a brand new car and get in debt for years or drive a classic with style and high standards of safety that only Mercedes Benz can offer, for practically nothing. The decision is up to you! If you are someone that wants to save a lot of money on a good car and understand that to do so , you may have to put a small portion of those savings back in to the car to make it perfect as your own taste dictates, then your bid is more than welcome and appreciated. I urge the bidders to have this car inspected by a Mercedes Benz Technician yes a MB technician, not your neighborhood favorite mechanic or your “expert” friend or relative on classic cars before auction end, to avoid any misunderstanding on the condition of the car, here is a classic example why a MB technician, all Mercedes enthusiasts know about this one, on my personal car a 1985 300CD after replacing the fuel filter the automatic transmission started to shift very hard, my son took it to a very popular automatic transmission repair shop (a national big franchise) it came back with an estimate of $1,800.00 to rebuild the transmission, (I still have the estimate sheet) I drove down the car down to the Mercedes Shop, and after explaining to the technician what happened after the oil change he just proceed to pop up open the hood looked for some disconnected vacuum hoses and finding it just reconnected it, and like magic the transmission went back to smooth shifting.
