1995 BMW 540i 6 Speed Manual 1 of 1357 6 speeds built, this car is a blast to drive! New car trade in, this one is being offered with no reserve and will not end early! Engine and transmission run and shift smoothly, the engine was replaced with the upgraded 4.0 at 65,000 miles at the BMW dealer (records included). The clutch was replaced with a kevlar upgrade kit at 96,000 and engages great. The transmission was also fitted with a short shift kit and wood shift knob. The engine management computer was upgraded and the car now puts out 300 hp at the back wheels! Recent maintenance also includes new front struts, tie rods and brakes. The cooling system was overhauled around 100K and new radiator was installed. New catalytic converters installed at 104K. Tons of maintainace records included. The interior is clean and comfortable, hvac system is in good working order. The factory radio works works good but the speakers sound a bit old. Wear is present on the drivers seat bolster and the top of the steering wheel. The exterior looks good, but upon close inspection the paint is not perfect. It shows to have had some panels repainted and it also has some water spots on most surfaces. Still very presentable, but not like new. 3 keys included, 2 with keyless entry and 1 valet.
