You are bidding on a 1993 Honda Goldwing with Landing gear. You don't have to give up the handling and turning performance of a bike to have the benefits of a trike! If selected you move the switch down and the landing gear drops as your speed reduces to less than 15 MPH as you approach a stop. You can sit with both feet on the pegs at a red light and then simply drive away when the light turns green. As you accelerate above 12 MPH the landing gear retracts back to its up position and you are again driving a motorcycle. Great conversation piece, I always have people asking me about the landing gear. I personally do not use the landing gear except to move the bike around the garage. You can push this bike with one hand with the landing gear so it makes moving it around a breeze. Although I do not use this feature for riding it is a great feature that was installed by the previous owner who was getting vertigo and he did not want to go to a full time Trike. Landing gear was a $3000 add on feature when new and can be removed and sold as is separate from the bike if desired. I have seen this landing gear system sell on E-bay used for $2k. I kept it on the bike thinking my dad would perhaps one day ride this bike but he has since purchased a smaller bike. This 1500 CC Gold-wing has reverse, AM/FM cassette, on board air compressor to adjust the suspension to find the comfortable ride with performance handling. CB radio and passenger to driver intercom system with properly equipped helmets. This bike has 79k miles on it which means it still has many miles on it for a Gold-wing. The bike has recently had the rear brakes rebuilt and bike stops and accelerates fast. New Battery just replaced last month. Very comfortable ride!
